Cookie Policy

What cookies are, which ones we use and how to manage consent

Last updated: 1 August 2026

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small files that sites save on your device to make them work, remember your choices or measure their use. Together with cookies we use similar technologies (e.g. local storage) under the same rules described here.

2. The categories we use

Technical cookies — always on

Necessary for operation: they do not require consent. They are used for the cart, the session, security and to remember your cookie choice.

First-party measurement — treated as technical

We count in-house how many people open a product page, how many touch the configurator and where they stop: it serves to understand where the site fails, and nothing else. The data never leaves our own servers, there is no third party, we do not record your IP address, and the identifier is a random number that disappears when you close the browser tab. Because of these characteristics this measurement is treated as a technical cookie, and so it does not ask for your consent.

If you would rather stay out anyway, open fpsitalia.it/?fps_notrack=1: from then on that browser is no longer counted. You come back with ?fps_notrack=0.

To recognise automated programs that copy the catalogue we keep an encrypted fingerprint of your address for one hour — not the address itself: it only serves to count how many sessions come from the same point, and cannot be traced back to anyone.

Analytics cookies — only with consent

They help us understand how the site is used, in aggregate form, to improve it. If enabled, we may use Google Analytics 4. They stay off until you give consent.

Marketing cookies — only with consent

They are used to show you more relevant ads and to measure campaigns. If enabled, we may use tools such as Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Pixel and Google Ads. They stay off until you give consent.

At present the site has no third-party analytics or marketing cookies active. This policy describes them because they may be enabled; in any case they will never run without your consent.

3. How you manage consent

On your first visit a banner lets you accept, reject or choose by category. You can change your mind whenever you like: Cookie preferences. We use Google Consent Mode v2: until you consent, measurement tools remain in a denied state.

You can also manage or delete cookies from your browser settings. Blocking technical cookies may, however, impair the site's operation.
