The service from the FPS team proved flawless on the operational side: high precision, availability and prompt handling of requests.
As for the quality of the product (the Fanatec combo), however, my initial expectations were not met. The cover, made by 3D printing, has a fairly rough surface finish, most likely down to the printing technology or to a lower-grade material (filament).
Functionally, the mechanical feedback of the levers is lacking: the shifter mechanism has no clear detent, while on both levers you only feel the action of a linear spring, with no progression or modulation of the resistance.
Finally, the handbrake clearly needs an elastomer element added, in order to increase realism and improve response under load.
