Knobs for the sequential shifter
The knob is the only place your hand actually touches the shifter, and it changes the feel far more than you would expect. A cylindrical one fills the palm and takes hard shifts best; a T-shape is held with two fingers and is quicker through short ratios; the R5 echoes the shape used in modern rally cars and suits drivers who mostly race on gravel.
They all screw on by hand on a standard thread: no tools, no glue, under a minute to swap. They are machined aluminium, not moulded plastic, and you feel that on the first hard shift.
If you already own a Combo, this is the cheapest way to give it a different character without touching anything else.
